Nope... Didn't abandon it!
Okay well maybe a little.
So, forever ago we went Rabbit hunting in "The World of Darkness" as Werewolves. I must say I really liked the D-10 system if only for the fact that I LOVE COLORS! So rolling 10 dice in variations of shade sparkle and font was probably more fun for me than anyone will think is sane.
The story, though simple, was super fun. 'You four, go get your rabbit and bring it to the giant armored bear'. Not only did we get our rabbit, we got their rabbit, the entire Den of Rabbits, AND my character saved a technology spirit that now lives in her goggles and made Shawn's character's tazer turn into a bloody lazer cannon. She's also super awesome ninjatastic with her shuriken, by the by. (Sorry I'm really happy with my character and just want to brag a little.)
Eric did an awesome job helping out my noobishness and answering my desperate questions. It was fun. I'm not used to not having a battle board but that wasn't as big of a hindrance as I thought it'd be. Actually it helped me not metagame as much as I found I want to while playing DD4e. Now I wish I'd gotten over my fear of making my mother upset and played Vampire with the guy from church, whose name I can't remember.
NOW, I'm going to make up my own little world. And I stress the word 'little'. Jesse's making me DM and I'm really freaking out. However, it's just him and me so I think it'll be okay. Maybe later I can pull Will in and then after that I might be confident enough to invite another person, maybe it can turn into a family game with my inlaws. lol
In any case I'll be sure to record my first ever DM panic attack for your reading pleasure while it's fresh in my memory.
I really want to make up a catch phrase with the word 'roll' in it... but I fear it will be dorky and cliche. XD!
Roll this way? Keep it Rolling? May 20's haunt your dice? .... bah, I'll work on it.
